In the wild west of Santa Fe, New Mexico, the KRod Collective embarked on a spirited adventure, armed with Margarita Trail passports to explore the city's best concoctions. From the mystical San Lorettto Chapel with its gravity-defying staircase to indulging in delectable chocolates at Takawa Chocolate Shop, every moment was a thrill ride. Despite facing challenges with mismatched hours at passport locations, the team pivoted with finesse, savoring drinks at the chic Elray Hotel's Larena bar.
The journey continued with visits to historic sites like the San Miguel Mission, the oldest church in the US, and Bandelier National Monument, where ancestral Pueblo homes perched on cliff dwellings whispered stories of the past. Lunch at the charming Ianami in 10,000 Waves Spa and a daring choice between the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum and the immersive Meow Wolf kept the adrenaline pumping. The day culminated in a mesmerizing Sky Railway Sunset Serenade train ride, serenaded by live music against the backdrop of a fiery sunset.
As the sun set on their Santa Fe escapade, the team savored Moscow mules at Paloma, adding a flavorful twist to their culinary journey. The final day dawned with a sumptuous breakfast at Cafe Pasquals, where pancakes drenched in mole and syrup danced on their taste buds. A quick round of touristy shopping wrapped up their expedition before bidding farewell to Santa Fe and heading back to Albuquerque, hearts brimming with memories of a truly unforgettable adventure.
